Toscana Rosso IGT

“CHOROS” means “dance” in ancient Greek, symbolizing the meeting between Sangiovese and the Cabernet and Merlot grapes to produce a wine that represents the harmony and movement of dance.
Our IGT “super tuscan,” which combines Sangiovese with softer notes typical of international grape varieties and aging in barrique, is a medium-aged wine, with deep intense colour, and aromas that range from Sangiovese fruity notes enriched by more complex aromas of currants and berries and the typical scents of barrique ageing, such as vanilla or spices. On the palate, it is full body, soft and persistent.

Alcohol Content: 13.5%
Grapes: Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Harvest: September. Hand-picked in crates with selection of the grapes.
Winemaking and ageing: destemming and crushing followed by fermentation, separate for each type of grape, in steel tanks. Final aging in barriques.
Pairing: It pairs well with dishes of strong flavor such as roasted or grilled red meats, braised or stewed meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses, but it is also excellent as a meditation wine, to be enjoyed after a meal or in a quiet moment at the end of a long day.
